Cart Loader

We are seeking a Cart Loader to join our team! The Cart Loader is a key material handling role responsible for loading finished garage door sections or panels onto carts. This position ensures safe and organized transport of products to shipping for further processing, packaging, storage, and shipping preparation.

Shift:

Fri, Sat, & Sun:

7am - 7:30pm with 4 hours of comp time What You'll Do Assist stagers in moving sections to assembly area. Insert, cut, and fit insulation materials into door cavities using precision tools, adhesives, and/or fasteners. Inspect installed insulation for compliance with quality and safety standards; perform adjustments as needed. Picking and bundling all materials safely and securely to eliminate the risk of damage during handling. Request appropriate materials from the warehouse and stocking bins. Accurately identifying, counting, and labeling the material by customer to ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner. Ensure the working area is safe, clean and organized. Perform any other duties or special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructions. Basic math skills with the ability to read a tape measure. Basic computer skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work overtime when needed.

Other Job Responsibilities and Physical Requirements:

Standing / Walking This position requires standing and walking throughout the entire shift while working on the production floor. Bending Frequent bending is required to perform tasks such as moving carts, handling & setting materials, and completing other job-related activities.

Lifting / Carrying

The job requires frequent lifting and stacking of banded door panels to various levels. Maximum required individual lifting limit is 45lbs and 50+lbs for team lift. Frequency of lifting and carrying varies based on assigned tasks.

Pushing / Pulling

Pushing of carts is often required with occasional pulling; A force of 50lbs is required to move a loaded cart; Pushing over 50 lbs. requires two people.
