Job Description

Doddridge County Community Corrections is seeking a motivated and dependable Case Manager to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supervising and supporting justice-involved individuals through structured programming, accountability, and evidence-based interventions. The Case Manager will work directly with participants involved in substance use recovery, domestic violence intervention, and court-ordered supervision programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor a caseload of participants (approx. 100-125 active clients) Conduct intakes, assessments, and case planning (LS/CMI or similar tools) Facilitate or assist with group programming (CBT-based classes, SMART Recovery, etc.) Maintain accurate and timely documentation in OIS and participant files Coordinate drug and alcohol testing (urine, oral, or other modalities) Provide referrals to community resources (treatment, employment, education) Communicate regularly with courts, probation, CPS, and other stakeholders Enforce program rules using graduated sanctions and incentives Support participant accountability while encouraging behavioral change
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred Experience in case management, corrections, behavioral health, or related field preferred Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to maintain professional boundaries and enforce accountability Experience with Motivational Interviewing (MI) or willingness to learn Familiarity with substance use disorders, domestic violence dynamics, and CBT-based approaches preferred
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday (Daytime hours) Occasional evening groups (as needed)
