Cashier

Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Assist customers with product inquiries, including product demos when applicable Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, ensuring merchandise is well-presented through merchandising and stocking Upsell relevant products to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales goals Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and practicing professional phone etiquette Support store operations by supervising junior team members during shifts when required Requirements Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred but not mandatory Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction balancing Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a friendly demeanor under pressure Experience in supervising or leading team members is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and work flexible hours as needed Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory management Join us to be part of a vibrant team that values energetic service, clear communication, and a passion for retail!
