Operate the POS system to process sales transactions accurately. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance sales. Assist in stocking shelves and merchandising products effectively. Conduct product demos to inform customers about new items. Ensure compliance with store policies regarding cash handling and customer service. Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries. Supervise junior staff members when necessary, ensuring smooth operations during shifts. Skills Proficient in using POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Previous supervising experience is a plus, fostering teamwork among staff. Ability to conduct product demos that engage customers effectively. Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases. Strong phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally. Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. Knowledge of merchandising strategies to attract customers' attention. Familiarity with stocking procedures to maintain inventory levels efficiently. Background in retail sales with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
