Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process customer transactions swiftly and securely Greet customers warmly, offering assistance and answering questions with excellent phone etiquette Upsell products and promote store specials to maximize sales opportunities Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits to customers Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are attractive and accessible Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision, adhering to cash handling procedures Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking, inventory counts, and replenishment to keep the sales floor well-stocked Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Experience Prior cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone; bilingual skills are a plus Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team Knowledge of merchandising, stock management, and retail sales techniques will support your success in this role Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels our store's vibrant atmosphere!
