Cashier/ Kitchen Help

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Cashier and Kitchen Help, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through efficient food service and friendly cashiering. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process payments using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling with precision and integrity. Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling menu items, maintaining ingredient stations, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Support kitchen operations by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and assisting with basic food prep as needed. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food service areas in compliance with health regulations. Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service and high customer satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail math is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus. Strong math skills for cash handling and basic restaurant operations. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment typical of quick service or fast food restaurants. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. Basic kitchen experience or culinary background is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
