Duties Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision and integrity Assist customers with product inquiries, including product demos when applicable Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, restocking supplies as needed Upsell relevant products to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales Support merchandising efforts by stocking shelves and organizing displays Provide friendly phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Ensure compliance with all cash handling procedures and retail policies Assist in inventory management through stocking and merchandising activities Promote a positive shopping experience through excellent communication skills and attentive service Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail setting preferred Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory counts Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers and team members Experience with grocery store operations, including stocking, merchandising, and retail sales Knowledge of upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Familiarity with phone etiquette for professional customer interactions Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join our team today and be part of a dynamic retail environment where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
