The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle cash and operate a Point of Sale (POS) system. A background in retail sales, along with experience in merchandising and stocking, will be beneficial. We need coverage for our 1st shift, 11AM to 4PM. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed to enhance their shopping experience. Operate the POS system efficiently to process transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Maintain accurate cash drawers and perform regular cash reconciliations. Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales opportunities. Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising products, and maintaining an organized sales floor. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Ensure compliance with store policies regarding phone etiquette and customer interactions. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service. Requirements Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred. Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances customer interactions. Supervising experience is a plus for potential leadership opportunities within the team. Familiarity with take out restaurant is advantageous but not mandatory.
