Cashier - Pocatello - Part Time

Big Deal Outlet Pocatello is looking for a dependable, fast-paced, hard worker to fill the position of Cashier. This is a part time position with 15-30 hours per week that will work flexible shifts between 8:30am - 8:30pm Monday - Saturday. About Our Company Big Deal Outlet is a rapidly growing retail establishment with locations in Utah and Idaho. We focus on liquidating products that cannot be sold through regular retail channels. This includes scratch and dent, overstock, customer returns, and salvage consumer products. We are always looking to grow our team with energetic, self-motivated individuals who are interested in growing with us. We need team members with a positive attitude, a track record of honesty and integrity, and the ability to work quickly and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:

Cash Register Customer Service Maintain Store Cleanliness Cash Register:

Operate Cash register for entire shift or as needed. Receive payments and issue receipts. Accurately count cash you receive and return in change to customers. Utilize keyboard and 10-key to input merchandise into the register. Ability to remain knowledgeable on different weekly sales.

Customer Service:

Greet Customers. Uphold a positive attitude when dealing with customers and other coworkers. Remain honest and professional in all customer and coworker interactions. Interact with customer to understand needs or answer any questions. Confidently answer phone calls and take messages.

Maintain Store Cleanliness:

Collect misplaced items and be able to relocate them into the correct place. Utilize basic cleaning operations such as: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, or disinfecting surfaces. Pickup trash and break down empty boxes as needed.
