Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to every customer Greet customers and create a welcoming atmosphere Operate the cash register / POS system accurately Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions Assist customers with purchases, questions, and product recommendations Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise displays Maintain a clean, organized, and well stocked store Help maintain fuel pump and outside areas Follow store procedures and food safety standards Work as part of a team to keep the store running smoothly Help create a positive shopping experience that keeps customers coming back Qualifications Previous cashier, retail associate, retail sales associate, or customer service experience preferred but not required Strong customer service and communication skills Friendly, dependable, and positive attitude Ability to multitask in a fast paced retail environment Comfortable handling cash and operating a register Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to stand for extended periods Must be at least 18 years old Why Work at Harpo's?
