The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service while managing transactions and maintaining a positive shopping experience for our customers. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash, processing sales, and assisting customers with inquiries. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed. Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in cash handling. Provide product demonstrations and answer customer questions regarding products. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Communicate effectively with customers to enhance their shopping experience. Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves as necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations. Skills Proven experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Ability to demonstrate products and engage customers during product demos. Phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
