Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping journey Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties responsibly Assist customers with product information, product demos, and upselling to enhance their shopping experience Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Conduct basic math calculations for transactions and ensure proper cash register balancing at shift end Use effective phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse customers in a bilingual environment is a plus Familiarity with POS systems and retail math concepts such as making change accurately Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks like stocking or merchandising Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Experience in grocery store environments or supervising roles is advantageous but not mandatory Basic understanding of grocery store operations, product placement, and inventory management Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional service while honing your retail expertise.
