Cashier/Customer Service

Hello! I'm looking for temp help for the Elk's Rodeo in Santa Maria. We are a fast paced food concession that has been serving delicious foods at California and Arizona fairs for over 50 years and we need some friendly and motivated people to help us serve up lots of delicious food. The rodeo runs Tuesday May 27th through Sunday May 31st. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday you would start at 6pm. Closing time varies, but is usually between 11pm and midnight. Saturday start at 5pm and Sunday at 1pm. Please only apply if you are available 5 days. Responsibilities include helping customers, taking orders, using cash register, prepping/packing food and drink orders, keeping work area clean and stocked, assisting with some prep work as well as with general clean up at the end of the night. You may be asked to assist in other areas as needed. You should be comfortable standing for 6-8 hours in a day, able to bend, squat, lift/reach above your head comfortably, able to comfortably lift up to 20 pounds and able to make repetitive movements throughout your shift. Please be 18+ and legally able to work. Cash register and food experience is a huge plus but we will train motivated applicants. Spanish/English bilingual is very helpful. Please have reliable transportation all days of the fair. We provide passes for entry to the fairgrounds however employees are responsible for their own parking and transportation to work. Pay starting at $16.90 an hour depending on experience. Extra .25¢/hour for fluent Spanish/English bilingual speakers.
