Position Summary The Cashier is responsible for delivering excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions at the checkout. This role includes greeting customers, handling payments, maintaining a clean and organized front end, and supporting store operations as needed. Key Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide helpful, friendly service Operate cash register, scanner, and point-of-sale (POS) systems Accurately handle cash, credit, debit, and EBT transactions Maintain a clean and organized checkout area Assist with bagging groceries and helping customers to their vehicles when needed Answer customer questions and direct them to appropriate departments Restock impulse and front-end merchandise Follow all store policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention guidelines Support store team with additional tasks as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous cash handling or customer service experience preferred, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Schedule Requirements Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Flexible scheduling options available Why Join Our Team?
