Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and mobile payments Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product information or demos to enhance their shopping experience Manage cash handling procedures with precision, including balancing registers and maintaining accountability for all transactions Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store is clean and inviting Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette or in person with professionalism and friendliness Experience Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Supervising experience is a plus, especially if it involved team coordination or training new staff Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with customers and team members alike Basic math skills are necessary for cash handling, retail math calculations, and balancing registers accurately Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail environments will help you adapt quickly to our fast-paced setting Any smoke shop experience Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while sharpening your retail expertise!
