Cashier/Customer Service

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will handle transactions, assist with product inquiries, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Duties Operate the cash register and process customer transactions efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Assist customers with product selection and upselling additional items to enhance their shopping experience. Maintain an organized and clean checkout area. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Support retail sales efforts by promoting current promotions and new products. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain high standards of customer service. Skills Proficiency in operating POS systems and cash registers. Strong retail sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers professionally. Basic understanding of retail math for accurate transaction processing. Previous experience in customer service or supervising roles is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills to address customer concerns efficiently.
