Cashier/Customer Service

Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision and integrity Assist customers with product inquiries, including conducting product demos when appropriate Upsell additional items or services to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Manage stock levels by assisting with inventory counts and restocking as needed Use effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors over the phone Support grocery store operations by applying retail math skills for accurate pricing and transactions Promote a friendly shopping environment through clear communication and positive attitude Experience Prior cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Demonstrated supervising experience in a retail environment is a plus, showcasing leadership capabilities Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math is essential Strong communication skills to engage with customers confidently and professionally Experience in merchandising, stocking, or retail sales will support your success in this role Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Join our team where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
