Cashier/Customer Service Associate

CD One Price Cleaners is looking for a Counter Associate to join our team at our Crystal Lake location on Northwest Highway near the McDonalds. CD One Price Cleaners is a 50-store chain of dry cleaning and laundry "superstores" in the Chicago area. Apply on line or in person! You will be an important member of our team at the CD One Price Cleaners store in Crystal Lake and Algonquin. In this role, you will learn a variety of functions including customer service, and tagging the items with inventory tags, and transporting clothes between or Crystal Lake and Algonquin Location. team members assist in clothing inspection and bagging clothes prior to putting onthe racks for customer pick up. Daytime positions available for persons interested in joining our production team. Production team works cleaning, pressing and inspecting the customer's clothes. We are open 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Monday thru Saturday. Closed Sunday! Desired Traits Able to work independently. Comfortablele following asystem to insure quality and inventory control. Reliable - always on time and present for shifts. Take pride in work. Like learning new things. Positive attitude. Enjoy client contact.

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting our customers and telling them about our services. Assisting customers as they drop off and pick up clothing. Attaching inventory tags to all items after drop off. Maintain the appearance of the location. Work as a team in a fast paced environment Transport clothes between the Crystal Lake and Algonguin location. Assist with special assignments as needed.

Must be able to:

• Stand or move through the store for long periods of time during a shift Use 4 step ladder to retrieve clothes off of conveyor to give to clients Be able to load and unload washers and dryers Lift up to 20 1bs Available Saturday Can work morning or evening shift.

Open availability Have a valid Driver's License an good driving record. We move clothes between our 2 locations. Looking for reliable long term staff for our permanent positions..

Job Type:

Full or part time depending on availability and ability to perform a variety of roles. Team members work 30 - 35 hours per week.

Pay:

$16- $19 hourly
