Job Description:
As a Cashier/Host at IHOP, you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant, ensuring a positive first and last impression for every guest. You'll manage guest seating, process payments accurately, and support the dining room operations to maintain a smooth and enjoyable experience.Job Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly upon arrival, determine seating preferences, and escort them to their tables. Manage the waitlist efficiently during peak hours, communicating estimated wait times accurately. Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide information about menu items or restaurant services. Process guest payments accurately using the POS system, handling cash, credit cards, and gift cards. Maintain a clean and organized host stand and cashier area, including stocking necessary supplies. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining room, including clearing and setting tables as needed. Resolve guest complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently, escalating to management when necessary. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.Job Qualifications :
