Duties Greet customers warmly and efficiently take their orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring accuracy and speed. Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, maintaining quality and presentation. Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change while managing cash handling responsibilities. Upsell menu items to enhance sales and maximize customer satisfaction through friendly recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining spaces, and supporting kitchen operations during busy periods. Manage time effectively to ensure quick service delivery in a fast food or quick service restaurant environment. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or food industry roles such as café, restaurant, or retail store is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is a plus; strong basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential. Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude; ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Experience in cashiering, serving, bussing tables, or kitchen work in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable.
