Cashier/Stocker

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier/Stocker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining the store's inventory. You will play a crucial part in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers by managing the cash register and restocking shelves as needed. Responsibilities Operate the cash register, processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and resolving any issues. Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are organized and displayed attractively. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and sales floor. Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock counts. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store. Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members. Knowledge of retail math concepts to assist in inventory management. Proficient in phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries via phone. Capable of supervising staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
