Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service through clear communication and friendly assistance Stock shelves and displays, ensuring products are well-organized, properly priced, and visually appealing Upsell products by recommending complementary items to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction Maintain proper cash handling procedures, including balancing registers at shift end Assist with inventory management by receiving deliveries, stocking new merchandise, and conducting regular stock Demonstrate phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers over the phone Keep store in order, tidy, and clean Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate transactions and cash handling Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks involved in stocking Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and proactive approach Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counts Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities Join us as a Cashier/Stocker where your energy fuels our store's success!
