Casino Beverage Floor Supervisor Req #838 100 N Hayford Rd, Airway Heights, WA 99001, USA Apply Share Job Description Posted Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 6:00 AM Summary of Functions To direct and coordinate departmental activities. Responsible to deliver an exceptional high level of guest service and superior quality of product Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians, Washington State Regulations, Policies and Procedures. Responsible for the activities in the Food and Beverage. Responsible and oversees banquet functions as a Banquet Captain. Write and monitor weekly work schedules for your operation and post them 10 days in advance Assist in developing departmental objectives, policies and procedures to grow Food & Beverage Monitor and enforce departmental policies and objectives for the Food and Beverage Department. Monitor inventories and cost percentages of goods, supplies, and equipment Participate with the Food and Beverage Manager and Chefs in the creation and development of menus, food selections, and related activities for your designated area. Actively participate with the Food and Beverage Manager and the marketing department in promoting Food & Beverage. Handle or oversee all issues in regard to Guest relations. Handle and resolve Team Member issues, and pass on major incidents to the Food and Beverage Manager, GOOD AND BAD. In order to insure a clean and safe environment, enforce basic sanitation practices, HACCP standards and procedures in your respective venue. Assist Controller in maintaining current team member work permits, health cards, MAST cards, Hepitius vaccines, and Serv-Safe cards. Attend the mandatory Food and Beverage management meeting. Attend all other required meetings whenever possible. Ensure compliance with Tribal, regulations and applicable Federal and State laws, by all Team Members. Review and analyze the activities regarding the labor cost and operational expenses as it relates to your operation's budget and goals Monitor and enforce departmental policies and procedures. Ongoing development of Team Members in regard to exceptional service and public relation skills with our guests Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in preparing the annual budgets. Hire, train, coach and counsel Team Members and as necessary and consistently give positive feedback. Insure ongoing and regularly scheduled departmental training meetings for all Team Members. Administer corrective and progressive disciplinary actions in accordance with NQRC polices within the guidelines of the H.R. department. Schedule, administer and ensure that all Team Members are reviewed in an accurate, fair and timely manner. • Monitor weekly schedules and adjust staffing levels to budgeted or appropriate labor percentages Assist with the design of staffing guides and submit them to the Food and Beverage Manager. Responsible for maintaining a good attendance record. May be required to be a panelist for the Internal Review Hearings. Ensures that highest possible standards of guest satisfaction and Team Member relations are maintained and carried out in a fair and equitable manner conducive to that goal This job description does not list all of the duties of this position. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises Food and Beverage Team Members of the unit (Servers and Bartenders, Banquet Staff) Experience Prefer four years of experience in a full-service restaurant and/or bar operation. Experience in liquor, beer, and wine management helpful. Knowledge of inventory systems and procedures a plus. Skills & Abilities Proficient in the use of Microsoft programs and other computer software. Ability to write procedures, prepare reports, correspondence, charts, layouts, forms, memoranda and other information and instructions. Ability to analyze and solve management and administrative problems. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with department heads, peers, guests and public officials. Basic knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems. Skill in effectively, communicating information through verbal and written correspondence to Team Members, managers, and Guests, including the ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedural manuals. Ability to cross communicate (orally and written) with all departments and at all levels Skill in solving practical problems and dealing with situations in relation to Guests and Team Members under pressure conditions. Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills. Ability to calculate and monitor cost of goods. Ability to read and analyze spread sheets, reports, financial statements and food specifications. Skills in assessing operations, programs, staffing levels, and physical needs. Education High School Diploma or GED. Other Requirements Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Work Permit. Valid driver's license (Must be in possession while operating a Tribal Vehicle). Washington State Food Handler Permit within 14 days of start date. Hepatitis "A" vaccination - By Date of Hire. MAST (Washington State Liquor Control Board Permit) - 90 days from date of employment or 1st class offered. Available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required. Physical Demands Requires the ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 75 pounds. Constantly requires the ability to give and receive detailed information through verbal communication. Constantly requires verbally expressing or exchanging ideas of essential instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly. Constantly requires working with fingers rather than the whole hand or arm. Constantly requires repetitive movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Requires walking or moving about to accomplish tasks. Requires standing and/or sitting for sustained periods. Requires ascending or descending stairs or ramps using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Occasionally requires raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally. Requires stooping, which entails the use of the lower extremities and back muscles. Occasionally requires crouching. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to tobacco smoke, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The worker is frequently subject to inside environmental conditions, which protect from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes, and is occasionally subject to outside environmental conditions and wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Travel Requirements Local travel is occasionally required. Travel outside the state is infrequently needed.
