Be Creative at Dordt University! Creative Dining Services located on the Dordt University campus in Sioux Center, IA . is looking for a full-time Catering Assistant. $16-18/hr

The Catering Assistant serves as a partner with the Catering Manager. We are looking for happy, positive, and dedicated people to help us create memories for those we serve. • Core Requirements:

• Sets up, serves, and cleans up at campus banquets, luncheons, coffees, etc.

Interacts with guests at events with professionalism, service, and grace, upholding the customer service expectations of CDS and the client/account. Ensures all catering dishes, utensils, and other equipment from the catering storeroom are clean and properly returned to their correct place after each event. Ensures proper lock-up procedures are followed and enforced. Reports to the Catering Manager customer feedback and any needed maintenance or catering supplies as needed.

• The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be able to lift 25 lbs.

Be able to transport food, beverage and serving related items to serving tables or guest tables. Be able to stand on one's feet for long periods of time, bending, stooping, and twisting. Have one-year minimum experience with food service and catering preferred Possess a positive, can-do attitude Work well with others Be willing to engage actively in the physical work of a high-quality hospitality service operation
