In this vital role, you will support the seamless setup, service, and cleanup of catering events, ensuring every detail is handled with precision and care. Duties Assist with the transportation and delivery of catering supplies, equipment, and food items to event venues, ensuring timely and safe handling. Support the setup and breakdown of event spaces by arranging tables, chairs, linens, and service stations according to event specifications. Help with food handling duties such as bussing tables, clearing plates, and assisting with food preparation under supervision to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of all event areas during and after functions, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold hygiene standards. Coordinate with culinary staff and event coordinators to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction throughout the event. Ensure all equipment and supplies are stored properly after events and report any damages or maintenance needs promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key. Basic knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and restaurant or catering operations is advantageous. Strong physical stamina to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks efficiently. Excellent guest relations skills with a friendly attitude and a focus on customer service excellence. Experience in banquet service, bussing, or food service roles enhances your ability to succeed in this position. Familiarity with food preparation or hotel experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; training will be provided.
