Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other interventional procedures Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and assist the cardiac team before, during, and after procedures Maintain adherence to infection control protocols and ensure compliance with all departmental and hospital policies Prepare and operate specialized Cath Lab equipment, troubleshooting when necessary Educate patients and families on procedure expectations and post-procedure care Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the charting system promptly and accurately

Desired Qualifications:

Active, unencumbered RN license Recent experience in a Cath Lab is required; travel nursing experience is a plus Certification in BLS and ACLS required Proficiency with monitoring equipment and electronic health records Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergent situations This contract position presents an excellent opportunity to broaden your clinical expertise while working alongside dedicated professionals.
