Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Step into an engaging role supporting the Imaging Department as a versatile technologist. Utilize your expertise across Cath Lab, X-ray, and Interventional Radiology to deliver high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures. This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and serve patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and state licensure where required Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Tech and/or IR Tech Proficient in operating imaging equipment for cardiac catheterizations, radiographic studies, and interventional procedures Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety protocols Familiarity with EMR systems and digital imaging technology Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities Ability to adapt to fast-paced, acute care settings
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time and variable shifts may be required according to department needs
Essential Responsibilities:
Perform and assist with a range of diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angiography, and fluoroscopic imaging Prepare patients for procedures; provide explanations and ensure comfort throughout the process Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and patient safety Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure procedure efficiency and positive patient outcomes Accurately document all procedures and maintain thorough patient records Adhere to facility safety procedures and regulatory standards Remain current with continuing education and compliance training requirements
