Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the school community near Groton, NY as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)! Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs also welcome Experience providing speech, language, and communication therapy services in school settings Familiarity with IEP process and documentation Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP requirements Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to ensure holistic support Maintain thorough records and progress reports for students Participate in IEP meetings and offer expertise on speech-language needs Provide resources and support to teachers to foster communication-friendly classrooms Enjoy the flexibility that a contract role offers, working closely with supportive school staff who value your expertise.
