Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Step into an advanced, collaborative environment specializing in comprehensive cardiac and peripheral services. As a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist, you will play a key role alongside Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and a General Surgeon, delivering exceptional care across a full spectrum of procedures. From Left and Right Heart Caths, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, carotid interventions, and pacemaker insertions, to diagnostic and interventional peripheral procedures, your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes.
Schedule:
8-hour day shifts Rotating call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience as a Cath Lab Tech or Radiologic Technologist in a high-acuity cardiac environment Proficient in scrubbing and circulating for a wide variety of Cath Lab procedures Comfortable operating x-ray equipment, such as Siemens Artis Zee C-arms Skilled in the use of advanced devices: Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and both coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices Familiar with McKesson CPACS, Cardiology, and Hemodynamic systems Strong understanding of inventory management and assisting with billing processes Ability to multitask—working both in the procedure room and providing pre/post procedural care, patient transport, and general workflow support Valid certification/registry as required by position regulations
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate imaging equipment during complex interventional procedures Actively participate in scrubbing and circulating for cardiac and interventional radiology cases Ensure patient safety, preparation, and monitoring throughout procedures Assist with patient care in pre and post-procedure areas Maintain accurate documentation and support inventory and supply chain management Provide technical guidance and collaborate efficiently with the interdisciplinary team Excel in a dynamic Cath Lab setting with exposure to cutting-edge technology and a multidisciplinary team.
