C&C Market Cashier

General Summary We are looking for a Cashier/Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately ringing up sales, processing payments, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a friendly and professional demeanor. Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Greet all customers with a friendly attitude and serve our customers in a friendly, efficient manner. Provide exceptional customer service. Operate a cash register/credit card terminal and accurately count/handle money transactions. Stocking, facing, and selling merchandise. Properly verify the age of customers for age-restricted products Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Performs other duties as required. Position Requirements Must wear required store uniform. Available weekend, evening shifts, and holidays. Must have reliable transportation. Working Conditions Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to XX hours per day). Able to lift 50lbs, bend, carry, and push various sized items. Must be able to reach above the shoulder and below the waste. Smoke-free environment that will be primarily indoor work but at times may be exposed to heat/cool outdoor temperatures as well as when entering coolers. Fast-paced environment
