CCTV Technician

Who we are? Hoerr Construction, Inc. was founded in 1994 and focuses on the underground construction field. As a union contractor, the key services we offer include directional drilling, sewer inspection and cleaning, CIPP pipe lining, and water and sanitary sewer construction. Key Job Duties for this position include: Operate and/or assist in the operation of a CCTV camera unit to inspect and document condition of underground piping to NASSCO standards. Utilize the internal sonde to locate and mark pipeline locations. Inspect and identify locations of laterals. Produce daily inspection reports. Drive and operate commercial class B CCTV truck. Perform miscellaneous functions and carry out special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Class A CDL license with air brakes and tanker endorsement. PACP certification preferred. Must have ability to operate and maintain computer equipment. Basic knowledge of sewer and stormwater systems a plus. Basic knowledge of robotic cameras a plus. Willing to travel within our territory (state of Illinois). Willing to show a commitment to company safety practices. Willing to become a union member and get a union card (we will assist with this process). Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and have an acceptable MVR Attention to detail. Able to work well in a team environment. Able to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift 50 - 100 pounds. Able and willing to work outdoors in various positions such as kneeling, standing, crouching. Able to be productive and work independently with minimal supervision.
