CDL A Local Company Driver

Job Description:

We are hiring CDL A Drivers for Local, Home Daily runs out of Locust, NC! Competitive Pay - $1,500 average per week Some flatbed experience is preferred Monday - Friday, Saturday deliveries are rare 6am-8am start time Live load/unload Must be willing to strap loads (no tarping) Complete deliveries on schedule and interface with customers effectively Secures load and/or inspects load to ensure it has been properly secured Assist in loading and unloading Completes paperwork as required May operate a forklift to load/unload trailers as required Participates in safety trainings and meetings Deliver excellent customer service All other duties as assigned UFP Industries is North America's largest purchaser of softwood lumber and one of the nation's leading manufacturers and distributors of pressure-treated lumber and related building products. Job Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age 1 year of verifiable CDL A driving experience Valid Class A CDL with a current DOT Medical Card Must be able to read and speak English No DOT preventable recordable accidents in the last 3 years Forklift certified UFPT will certify drivers through our safety program
