The Opportunity We're looking for a safe, reliable full-time CDL-A Truck Driver based in the Las Vegas area to run regional dry van routes throughout the western U.S. You'll enjoy modern equipment, consistent miles, and the freedom of the open road without being gone for weeks at a time. What You'll Drive 2021 Peterbilt 579 with a comfortable sleeper cab Well-maintained dry van trailer Late-model, reliable equipment that's taken care of Pay & Benefits $0.60 - $0.70 per mile (based on experience) W-2 position with bi-weekly pay Paid Time Off Pet Rider Program Flexible scheduling to meet business needs while supporting work-life balance Your Responsibilities Safely and efficiently transport freight to destinations across the western United States Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and paperwork Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries Work collaboratively with our small team to keep loads moving smoothly What We're Looking For Valid CDL Class A license with at least 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and current medical card Solid knowledge of DOT regulations Experience operating and maintaining trucks and dry van trailers Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail Good written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency required) Comfortable using technology and electronic logging systems High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications a plus) Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet customer demands Willing to have an in-cab camera (for safety and compliance) Team player who takes pride in their work Why Join AJK Trucking?
