CDL A Rendering Driver/ Home Daily

Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and motivated CDL A Rendering Driver to join our team and enjoy the benefit of being home daily. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to deliver rendering products to various locations. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, maintaining proper handling procedures. Drive tanker or 53' open top dump trailered trucks as needed for various delivery routes. Manage route driving efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to safety standards. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to identify any maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route status or delays. Assist with freight handling, including load securing and ensuring cargo integrity during transit. Qualifications Valid CDL A license with 2 years experience in commercial driving and truck operations. Familiarity with different trailer types such as tankers and open top dump trailers. Prior delivery driver experience in freight handling or logistics is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of route planning, safety procedures, and vehicle maintenance routines. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safe driving practices.
