Job Description

  • Agronomy Peak Season (roughly April - August) o During this period, your primary focus will be on field operations, including: § Operate the tender truck or water truck efficiently, accurately, and safely.
§ Accurately deliver and verify correct product according to dispatched schedule and seasonal needs. § Complete appropriate paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. § Assist with loading and unloading of fertilizer and other operational tasks.
  • Grain Peak Season (roughly September - March) o During this period, your primary focus will be on grain operations, including: § Operate hopper-bottom trailers for grain hauling.
§ Haul product between warehouses and facilities. § Transfer grain between locations and assist with gain bin cleanouts. § Assist with loading and unloading grain. § Operate the scales and grain dryer, sample loads, load/unload trucks, and perform other related operations. Additional Duties
  • Operate a forklift.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Occasional weekend work required during peak seasons. Job Requirements
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
    Certifications :
    Have and maintain a valid Class A CDL, Fed Med, and possesses a satisfactory driving record.
      Technical Skills:
      o Ability to lift 60 pounds, climb ladders, and operate a pallet jack with 2,000 pounds of material. o Ability to understand agricultural sales and service. o Proficient in the use of computer technology and other relevant tools.
        Soft Skills:
        o Display a high degree of adaptability and flexibility. o Self-driven, motivated, and organizationally efficient. o Safety-minded with strong awareness and adherence to safety protocols, regulations, and best practices. o Strong commitment to quality, honesty, and client service. o Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with focus on team collaboration. o Possess a confident and positive mindset.
