In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and reliably. Duties Operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions and other commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes. 53' van Drop & Hook. Safely drive a truck adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal delivery schedules and ensuring on-time arrivals. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight documentation, and delivery records in compliance with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and resolve any issues that arise during transit. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route management. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial driving. This is an 8-9 hour shift 6 days a week.
