CDL Class A Driver Regional OTR Routes

Overview We are seeking a professional CDL Class A Driver to operate regional over-the-road (OTR) routes, delivering freight efficiently and safely across designated regions. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience with various trailer types, and a commitment to safety and customer service. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles. Drive regional OTR routes adhering to all federal and state transportation regulations. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Ensure cargo is secured properly for transit and perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance reports. Follow route schedules to meet delivery deadlines while prioritizing safety at all times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route progress and any issues encountered during transit. Assist with the loading and unloading process when required, ensuring proper handling of freight. Experience Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record. Experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred but not mandatory if willing to train. Prior experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized trucks such as dump trucks or roll-off trucks is advantageous. Delivery driver experience in freight transportation or similar logistics roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with route driving across regional areas and managing long-haul trips efficiently. Ability to operate additional equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading/unloading tasks. Proven track record of safe driving practices in commercial trucking environments.
