CDL Class A Driver - Wrecker

Northeast Towing & Transport is seeking Class A CDL drivers for heavy duty wrecker service and tractor-trailer work. Experience is helpful, but not necessary. We will train you! Must be able to drive manual transmission. We have no shortage of work or trucks. Be part of a professional towing and recovery team! Our fleet includes 25-Ton Wreckers, 50-Ton Wreckers, 50-Ton Rotator, Lowbed, and Landoll. We will send you to classes to get certifications needed at no cost to you. Must have Valid Class A CDL and medical card. Must not have a automatic or 5th wheel restriction. Must be able to pass background check. TWIC is helpful. This position requires a rotating on-call schedule of one day per week and one weekend every 4-6 weeks, so an ideal candidate would live in Windham, New London, or Tolland County. Ideal candidates are self-motivated and self-sufficient once trained. Our long-term goals include expansion, so there's room to move up. We ask that if you do not have a current CDL-A with the ability to drive a manual transmission that you not apply for this position at this time. A driving test will be administered at time of interview if possible.
