Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking to add another Road Service Technician to our team. This role will involve traveling to locations in a company provided vehicle (stocked with tools & parts) to perform repairs and maintenance to customer vehicles either on the roadside or in parking lots. Repairs typically consist of replacing/repairing air fittings/valves/lines, cooling lines, batteries, brake parts, and tires/wheels. This job will require some on-call shifts on nights/weekends. Typically 1-2 nights/weekend days, unless you want more.
Duties:
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to maintain and repair a variety of equipment, including trucks, buses, and machinery.
  • Diagnose technical issues using OEM diagnostic tools and repair manuals.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Operate air brake systems inspections and repairs.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with tractor-trailer systems.
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Mechanic or Service Technician is required..
  • Proficiency in working with air brake systems is advantageous.
Required Skills:
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of equipment maintenance.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
