CDL Class B Driver

J&R Transport is hiring out of Thurmont, Maryland! We are currently hiring full-time Class B CDL Drivers for immediate openings. Call 301-271-4600 Monday - Friday between 8am and 4pm for details and to schedule interview. Responsibilities Transport building components to and from manufacturing plants Jobsite deliveries within a 200-mile radius of Thurmont, MD Daily inspection of vehicle/trailer for mechanical and safety issues Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel receipts Comply with Federal/State rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver truck/trailer into loading or unloading positions Loads are unloaded using roll off trailers Report defects, accidents, or violations
