Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Russian Speaking Home Health Aide in Deerfield Beach area , where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, personalized care to individuals in their homes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients by assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence. Your expertise will support clients across various care needs, including senior care, disability support, and memory care, fostering a comfortable and respectful environment. We value energetic, caring professionals committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered services. Responsibilities Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary Observe and monitor patients' health status by taking vital signs and reporting changes promptly Assist with medication administration following proper protocols and maintaining accurate medical documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Support patients with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition tailored to individual needs Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment in compliance with HIPAA regulations Document patient care activities thoroughly, including medical records and progress notes Use medical terminology accurately when recording observations or communicating with healthcare teams Assist with specialized care such as catheter care, hospice support, Alzheimer's or dementia care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Experience Prior experience in home health or long-term care environments is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease Experience using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems for documentation and patient tracking Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to patient care and caregiving procedures Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications like medication administration or hospice care are a plus Familiarity with medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and vital sign monitors is advantageous Previous roles involving senior care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings will strengthen your application Join us to be part of a compassionate team dedicated to enhancing quality of life through attentive and respectful home health services.
