Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a CDL Class C Hazmat Endorsement Lube Truck Operator and take charge of essential maintenance and fueling operations on construction sites. In this energetic role, you'll operate a specialized lube truck equipped with a hazardous material endorsement, ensuring the safe delivery of lubricants, fuels, and other vital fluids to heavy machinery and equipment. Your expertise will keep construction projects moving smoothly while adhering to strict safety standards. This position is salaried and averages 25-40 hours per week. Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a CDL Class C truck with a Hazmat endorsement to deliver lubricants, fuels, and construction fluids to various job sites.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Conduct routine inspections of trucks and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper functioning.
  • Assist with fueling and lubricating heavy machinery, such as excavators, skid steers, and drills.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and safety documentation in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Collaborate with construction crews to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure the timely delivery of supplies.
  • Follow all safety protocols related to hazardous materials handling, including proper loading, unloading, and storage procedures.
  • Perform minor maintenance or mechanical checks on trucks and equipment to prevent breakdowns during operations.
  • Maintain weekly inventory count of all shop materials, and ensure Lube Truck stock is maintained. Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class C license with a Hazmat endorsement (or ability to obtain one) before employment.
  • Proven experience operating commercial vehicles, preferably within construction or industrial settings.
  • Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment, including excavators, drills, trucks, and skid steers.
  • Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards related to hazardous materials handling.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy containers and maneuvering around construction sites safely
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and site managers.
  • Excellent driving record with a commitment to safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Must pass a DOT Drug Test & Physical & maintain a drug-free work zone.
