CDL Delivery Specialist

SuperScape Supply is a small, family owned and operated business located in Greenville and Spartanburg, South Carolina. We are the trusted supplier of fresh mulch, sand, decorative rock, quality gravel, stone, soil, and more! The Delivery Specialist is responsible for picking up at one of our two locations and delivering landscape supply product to customers throughout the Upstate of South Carolina. We are seeking a driver who is well organized, flexible, and provides excellent service to our customers. SuperScape Supply is a small company and only offers PTO as a benefit at this time.

Truck Driver Skills and Qualifications:

CDL Class A and B No license restrictions Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledge Forklift experience is a plus Ability to lift 80 pounds repeatedly throughout day Able to pass random drug tests Clean driving record No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years Listening and verbal communication skills Dependability Certificate from an accredited CDL school 21 years or older 2 years experience driving

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Upstate daily deliveries. Must be flexible to work in different capacities for days when deliveries are not needed. Drive and operate trucks. Operate a fork lift. Need to be able to work overtime and long hours at times. Long Hauls and short hauls Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps. Pre-inspect truck. Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed. Load and unload cargo. Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times. Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations. Answer phone calls, e-mails and other company correspondence in a timely and professional manner Maintain and help foster relationships with vendors, customers, etc.
