Truck delivery (delivery method) Forklift Route planning Full Job Description Responsibilities Transport of lumber and building materials to and from store to residential customers. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules as required by our customer. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions. Collect and verify delivery instructions. Report defects, accidents or violation if necessary. Skills Work experience as a truck driver preferred. Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Valid CDL license, Class A or Class B. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc). Experience operating a forklift/moffet. However, we will train the right person. High level of communication to owner, customer and retail customer through phone, text or in person. Daytime hours- NO overnights! Workday/hours will depend on daily load requirements by our customer. Part-time or Full-time hours available- we are flexible with a schedule.
