The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of freight during transit. Duties Operate and drive day cab tractor, refrigerated trailers. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition. Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries in compliance with regulations. Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck to uphold company standards. Skills Proficient in truck driving with experience in various types of vehicles such tractor-trailers. Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety practices. Ability to navigate routes efficiently while managing time effectively. Excellent communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and clients. Problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during transport. Attention to detail for maintaining accurate logs and ensuring freight integrity.
