CDL Truck Driver

Safely operate a Tractor trailer. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a tractor trailer ensuring timely delivery of goods while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle driving assignments. Responsibilities Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption in compliance with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck to uphold company standards. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being operated. Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of road safety regulations. Familiarity with various types of trucks including manual transmission vehicles. Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality and reliability. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as required by company policy.
