CDL Truck Driver

Todd's Welding Service, a leader in Welding and Aggregates, is looking for a new CDL Class A Truck Driver. The ideal candidate will be reliable, skilled, and have the ability to solve problems in the shop and in the field. TWS is looking for strong candidates to apply for this position. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a vital role in our company, ensuring that products are delivered safely and on time.

You should be able to:

• Safely operate different types of trucks, including flatbeds, dump trucks, double trailers, tankers, and more
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts
• Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information
• Communicate with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to adhere to DOT screening
• Proven experience driving various types of trucks, including those with manual transmission / 13-speed Eaton Transmission
• Ability to safely load, unload, and secure cargo
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
• Effective communication skills to interact with dispatchers and team members Pay range is negotiable and will be based on experience and ability.
