CDL Truck Driver local & OTR

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently to various destinations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate different types of trucks and trailers, including but not limited to flatbeds, side dumps, and belly dumps. Duties Safely transport freight to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo transported. Load and unload cargo properly Follow established routes for efficient delivery while being prepared for route driving adjustments as needed. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being operated. Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation. Familiarity with different truck and trailer types Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is essential. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent time management skills Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as required by company policies.
