CDL Truck Driver (side dump)

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Side Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the side dump truck. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and construction debris. Load and unload materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including routes taken and materials transported. Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Assist in loading materials using equipment as needed. Perform routine maintenance on the truck, reporting any mechanical issues promptly. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience operating side dump trucks; additional experience with flat bed trucks or va trailers is a plus. Familiarity with route driving and knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns. Ability to operate trucks for loading and unloading materials safely. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Physical stamina to handle the demands of loading, unloading, and driving long distances. Pay:
