General Statement of Duties:

The Center Supervisor is responsible for the overall daily operation of the Day Program that they supervise. Duties include but are not limited to: Support individuals following a person centered approach, Direct staff in support of program participants, support the planning and implementation of client's plans, direct the formation and maintenance of a safe environment free of harm and exploitation, maintain and complete all records and reports as required by New Jersey, the Arc and pertinent agencies, participate in ISP development and evaluation and train staff in the documentation and implementation of daily ISP date collection. Center Supervisor also administers and documents medication in accordance with DDD guidelines and monitors staff compliance with such guidelines. This position is responsible for training and coaching staff daily, coordinating scheduling and managing staff.

Qualifications:

An Associate's Degree and/or equivalent experience. Ideally, the candidate will have at least 3 years of experience providing supports for persons with developmental disabilities and 2 years supervisory experience is preferred. Candidates should be organized, detail-oriented and willing to take initiative to best support and supervise the day program to which they are assigned. Problem solving and interpersonal skills required.
